At present, printing companies, designers and publishers are forced to reduce costs and position themselves in niche markets where the unique selling point hwould not be the lowest price. In this sense, it is possible to improve the competitiveness of  graphic companies with environmental strategies that allow to meet new customer requirements and reduce production costs by saving energy and raw materials, and offering products and more committed to the environment and society.

With the journay "Environmental improvement of the printed product, increased competitiveness through strategies Ecoedición" designers, technicians, entrepreneurs and publishers have been able to have information on the impact of print and electronic products, best available techniques, sustainable raw materials and processes of implementation, as well as existing market opportunities.

This information has been provided by various Spanish companies that are working for the sustainability of the printed product from their respective fields, such as the Association of Graphic Arts in Madrid AGM, manufacturers SAPPI and Martinez Ayala, Department of Graphic Arts AIDO , the LIFE + projects "BATsGRAPH", "Ecoediciòn" and "Greening Books" and FSC Spain, having been an opportunity to establish and develop lines of cooperation between them.
